I am trying to find some good tools with my share trading.

First of all I need a good (hopefully free) share watchlist with basic fundamental ratios such as PE, div yield, NTA and ideally would also have PEG.
- Comsec does not have fundamentals on their watchlist
- ASX does not have fundamentals on their watchlist
- Yahoo is flakey (even basic PE does not work on half the shares)

Seconds I also need a good market screener that can give me shares with certain fundamental ratios. I found http://www.australian-economy.com fantastic but unfortunately data is out of date now.

Anyone know of either a watchlist of screener? If not can you recommend a good commercial service?

Thanks, Zoran

Hi Zoran

On Commsec there is an advanced search tool. To get to it just type in your favourite share code then click Research then up the top, click Company Research then Advanced search tool.

Also at www.ninemsn.com.au
Select ‘Finance and business’, ‘Investor’, ‘Tools’, ‘Share Finder’, ‘Advance
Finder’, but I haven't used this.

Alternatively you could keep reading IC, learn TA, and just buy the ones that are going up! :-) Sounded silly to me at first too...

cheers

MM

Thanks Moleman!

My thoughts are to use fundamental analysis to screen for good value shares on the whole exchange, use brokers recommendation, then out of that pool use technical analysis to find shares that have momentum growth.
