My dears, ALL FALSE PROFETS=TEACHERS, ARE TEACHING YOU EXACTLY LIKE IN THIS MOVIE: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JRgIbKEsYT4 THAT IT GIVES ONLY CHAOS=DIS_ORDER IN THE NATURE. But they are omitting - intentionally - to tell you: 1) THAT THE NATURAL CHAOS=DIS_ORDER IS VERY RARE IN THE NATURE, AND MOSTLY=MORE PROBABLE A VISIBLE - AND THEREFORE IN ADVANCE EASY KNOWING - ORDER IS RULING THE NATURE, THAT IS CALLING THE LAW OF EQUILIBRIUM. 2) AND THAT THE CHAOS=DIS_ORDER MANIFESTED ON DIFFERENT SEGMENTS OF THE FINANCIAL MARKET, IS ONLY AN APPARENTLY CHAOS: AN ARTIFICIAL CHAOS=DIS_ORDER CREATED INSIDE OF THE LABORATORIES OF BROKERS=INSIDE OF THE "MARKET", WHICH IS HAVING AN IN_VISIBILE RULES=LAW OF DIS_ORDER, but despite of this invisibility: THE CODE OF DIS_ORDER CAN BE BROKEN - IF YOU ARE NOT A PROFANE PEOPLE, BUT AN INITIATE - AND THEREFORE: THE DIS_ORDER DEGREE=THE LEVEL OF THE VOLATILITY=THE RISK OF INCREASE/DECREASE IN TIME - NOT ONLY THE NORMALLY=THE COMMON=THE "ORDINARY"=THE USUALLY=THE MOST PROBABLE=THE PROVEN ONE BY THE WHOLE HISTORY OF EVENTS, BUT ALSO THE NATURALLY ADMITTED, OR THE EXCEPTIONALLY TILL ABERRANT ONE - CAN BE KNOWN IN ADVANCE=WITH ANTICIPATION PRECISELY ENOUGH !

Ahoy Officer Resilient ONE Thanks for your support on "That Other Thread" I have always found it hard to communicate with the Dynamic Duo and their pet "The Italian Stallion" I like you appreciate that they know NO BETTER but how many chances do you give them ? As one of our dear friar's mate St Jude once wrote "It's like the hopeless leading the helpless!!!" This is not to say that they are wrong all of the time I just merely say that they are wrong MOST of the time BTW: I always wondered why you only gave us the "Pink" sheets when I asked for help in weighting ALL of the ASX I don't blame you or not sharing that sort of detail with everybody if that is what you wished But I can promise you ONE THING They wouldn't know how to treat the differences in weighted sails anyway It seems to me they read a book written on Heavy-weights and then for some reason assume it is all the same with Blue-chips, Green-chips and even the lighter weighted sails ANYWAY If you could proceed with all the other weighting classifications I would be much appreciated as would lots of other sailors here on IC A lot more can be learnt in the way sails perform with wind depending solely on their DRY weight Others will indeed research and experience the magnificence of coming home on a wet sail but that is quite different It is not my job here to teach anybody how to suck eggs but by mixing with each other sailors I have found we all learn a lot more than anyone could learn on their own Salute and Gods' speed PS; This is not to say we give those Greedy Landlubbers an even break WE DON"T!!! So Far, So Good "June 25 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. stocks posted their biggest gain in two weeks, led by banks and computer companies, after analysts said demand for electronics will grow and investors speculated the Federal Reserve will hold off increasing interest rates. JPMorgan Chase & Co., Bank of America Corp. and Wells Fargo & Co. led financial shares to their biggest jump in almost two months." Salute and Gods' speed

Captain C Good call on the banks. Good for a short term trade, but wouldn't want to fall asleep at the wheel while holding them. You might want to consider playing golf only at the weekend! The US banks didn't follow through as you had hoped, I wouldn't touch a US bank with a ten foot barge pole and it appears no one else particularly likes them either. The interest rate decision probably means we're in a holding pattern for a while - oil, stock market, base metals and gold will more than likely range until there is another bank in trouble, geopolitical incident or piece of economic news to move the DOW/S&P500 in one direction or other. As you say, "patience is everything" Regards Kate

Kate, From my humble experience, i am telling you that: A RANGE INTERVAL IS MORE LIKELY TO PRODUCE=TO APPEAR INDEED, BUT: ON THE OTHER LIMIT=THE LOWER ONE=THE LIMIT OF SUPPORT, AND NOT AT THE HIGHER LIMIT=NOT AT THE RESISTENCE LIMIT ! Because is very LOGIC=REAL that its is much more easier for someone=everyone: TO HOLD (and a range interval is an interval for a STATIONARY=HOLDING EVOLUTION) HIS ARMS DOWN, AS HOLDING THEM ARISEN FOR MORE AS A COUPLE OF MINUTES. Everything that SEEMS TO BE MORE PROBABLE=RELIABLE=CONFIDENT, must be only the result of an exercise of LOGIC=RATIONALITY, and not the result given by the exercise of FEELING=SENTIMENTS=ILUSSIONS. Never make a confusion between what you want and what you can, because such a behavior can become FATAL to you. Regards, Doru Stoian (Message edited by stoian on June 26, 2008)

Ahoy Sea-Cadet-Officer Young Katie June 30 is the line drawn in sand where we are all judged as Winners and Losers This line means heaps to the Young University upstarts as they close their FYO8 Fund performances I envisage that their results will not be good and hence some window dressing will be done And if not done in collution ? It Will Be Done Anyway! To us in the lighter weighted sails I will be employing a completely different tack on Monday and try to keep the prices at the low as possible for the Obvious TAX benefits What we will have here on Monday is WAR where our Academic Landlubbing Fund managers are fighting for their own survival and we seaman on the lighter weighted sails are fighting TAX Relief Crickey! The only Funds that may be out in front are those with only BHP- Tinto and with Bugger-all else As you well know? This not allowed to happen in the academic/landlubbing world because our Mums and Dads are only allowed to lose in a diverse way Monday should be more than just a very interesting EOD It is the-End of FY08 Monday is certainly not going to be a Golf Day Salute and Gods' speed

Ahoy Officer Archie I think the only reason why the NAB underperformed on Friday is the strong rumour of NAB showing an interest in the late BankWest The rest of the Banks who can't buy another bank at these prices will Buy their own Back IMHO It's as simple as that! All should be FINE in financial year Two Double-Oh NINE (Me thinks?) Salute and Gods' speed
NB; Thinking is only acceptable on Week-ends when it can't do any harm!
