Hi folks, According to our astroanalysis, crude oil prices will rocket in 2009, but we will likely get a little foretaste of things to come, next month: 24-30112008 ... a strong rally in the oil price likely. 18 May --->> 06 July 2009 ..... peak oil one = POO ... !~! Significant triggers during this period may be expected, on: 20052009 ... significant oil news expected here. 27-29052009 ... 3 significant time cycles in play here. 03062009 ... a focus on the oil price ??? 10062009 ... more significant oil news expected here 15-18062008 ... another cycle to trigger a rally ??? 02072009 ... 4 time cycles come together here to have the world focused on the oil price. ----- Then, late in 2009: 02122009 ... news to trigger a rally in oil prices 16122009 ... a strong rally in oil prices expected 18-28122009 ... peak oil two = POT ... !~! have a great day paul

yogi: I was always curios why you didn't us a sensible date format. If you use unix date format you get better looking numbers. 20081124-30 20090520 20090527-29 20090603 20090610 20080815-18 20090702 20091202 20091216 20091218-28 etc. It's easier to read and you'll be the first(only?) astrologer ahead of your time. regards, Ice

yogiinoz: Look forward to your November 24 - 30 Rally in Oil. By my reckoning [ non astro projection] thye price should be sub $60 and a Rally would have a Target of $110 to $115. Could be a very interesting week. Regards, Paddy [ Keeper of the $130 Fantasma High ]

Yogiinoz : Does this planned action by the CRD's affect your Timetable ? "" The Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (that's OPEC to you and me) have decided to reschedule their extraordinary meeting from the 18th November to the 24th October. We would guess that makes it an extra-extraordinary meeting. We wonder what will be on the agenda. It's a tough one? "" Regards, Paddy

Stoian : Did you forget yourself ? What's with using plain understandable English ? Great if you keep using it with your other posts. Re the price : Lets wait and see what the CRDs do at this extra-ordinary emergency meeting. Regards, Paddy

I buy that crude will go up after the election. The very same thing happened into 2006 :: gasoline price was up until the campaigning got serious, it fell hard until the election was held and then went right back up. The same thing will happen this time in my view. In fact the best-performing sector yesterday, Oct 20 was energy / natural resources, so the insiders are positioning for the rally now, which means not to expect more than a momentary drop below $70. How high? 110 sounds like a pipe dream to me.

I heard chat about OPEC cutting supply by 2 million barrels per day, that could lift prices, however, we pay by supply and demand, demand no longer controls the price. A war in Iran or reduced supply would lift prices, definetly a possibility, but peak oil requires demand, and with the meltdown, it's not going to happen, unless wells dry up quicker than expected, or an few oil platforms fall into the sea.

This is probably the wrong forum, as I'm not discussing peak oil, just the idea that oil prices will go up after the election. I'm well aware that conventional wisdom says that 'demand destruction' has taken place, the slow global economy means price will even keep falling more but how about some good old supply disruptions to manipulate the price higher ?? Anyway, there is demand - 86 million barrels / day - just not demand GROWTH.

Yogi Amazing stuff. Keep up the good work. How you are able to accurately predict to the day 6-12 months out is startling ! There are dozens of examples. Far too many we can rule out luck. Your prediction of Oil strongly rising in 09 agrees with my prediction of the up coming rally in stocks after the US elections ! Lets not get carried away as I also tend to agree with Commodore Colin's prediction of the strong possibility of stagflation for a few years and stocks going east for awhile.

The 24th to 30th of November produced nothing more than a slight blip on the way down, but now oil is getting interesting. $40 was big resistance on the way up for many years, and if its now support then the real peak oil rally may start from here. If $40 holds, I expect it to be tested a few times over the next few months. Why isn't OSH back down to $3.00? Do the punters know something?

Ahoy Officer 59 OSH is in my "Natural Gas" class of sail Not in the "Oil" Classification of sail She's a little beauty IMHO ! (I prefer Natural Gas than Oil in these Green times) Hope this helps? Salute and Gods' speed
