CQT's chart suggests it will go higher.
Some consolidation taking place at current levels and then more incremental moves to around the $1.30 mark.
Wouldn't rule out further gains longer term.

But clearly with CQT up over 100% in the past month, a few others know about the announcement.

To further clarify myself, after reading the forum rules I now understand 'ramping' and 'pump and dump'
Clearly this is not the case as CQT is not a penny stock that has been trading at half a cent on low volume for a year etc....
Regardless of what I know, to me CQT was a buy in early January 2007
Why don't you post a chart with your views of this share?

Sorry I missed your post, was in Brisbane for the weekend.
Today's announcement by CQT should be the first of several. Still assays to come for six holes drilled last year, a fresh estimate of the size of the resource due by the end of January and later the results of this year's drilling.
I think it is fair to say that if we get more announcements like today's then the effect on the share price will be positive.
Now for the technical stuff.
My P&F chart shows an ascending triangle forming with an expected breakout point around 97 cents and a target of $1.30 or thereabouts.
MACD is in positive territory and volume has been steadily decreasing for the past four trading days consistent with movement toward breakout from the formation. Twiggs money flow steady.
Can't see any stale bulls on the equivolume chart to dampen the next upward move.
I remain very positive based on what is on CQT's chart.

Read the quarterly report released last night.
Main points:
October's resource estimate as stated in the report is 300k oz gold, 18m oz silver, 25k tonnes copper. This translates into an inground value of approx $1.5 billion based on current prices for gold, silver and copper.
Since then CQT has hit bonanza gold intersections (company's own words) during step out RC and Diamond drilling. Both rigs going 24/7.
A resource upgrade by consultants is to be released early February which Quarterly says will be significant.
Aeromagnetic survey over 13 km strike length completed in November. Targets to be selected and drilled as a priority this year.
The share price charts attached shows steady increases in share price over the past twelve months broadly reflecting news released by the company to date and unless I've missed my guess the signs on the chart are encouraging.
In addition, you might want to check out a Boardroom Radio interview with the Exploration manager Nov 2006 in which he spoke more about outcrop strike potential.

The facts are:
They have a large land holding in QLD - over 4,500 km2.
Significant announcements are due - this is stated in their quarterly report.
Midas is setting a target of $1.30 but I my target is higher.

CQT set to break out of a flag formation. P&F chart shows break has commenced. Candlestick chart less convincing but last six daily candles display higher lows including a break on Friday. See below.
Looking for move above 97 cents (previous high) and sustained volume to confirm breakout.

I see 95-96c as significant resistance and will watching for a breakout above this on volume. If so, I'm in. I reckon I've got a week or so to free up some funds. P&F chart tells the story. Looking at MUCH longer term chart, cup & handle showing with a very long base, so I think a quick move to 1.30 once it has broken resistance
