Hi dolphin

I am enjoying this study and would like your comment on the below stock.

My observations =

a) FNT price action has retraced into the zone.
b) price is at support (previous breakout & gap) with doji
c) 10d & 30d MA's narrowing with longer term MA rising. It would be prefered if 10d MA wasnt dipping
d)Williams 3d turning up
e) volume on doji is 1.7M shares, previous day 600thous (hard to see on chart)
f) retracement to 61% fib level (i am really unsure if I have plotted fib levels correctly, should it be from previous swing low?)

FNT is not the best TAZ setup around atm, but I have been watching given some good funnymental speculation and the price cn be explosive if timed right.

Yeah I knew the higher low was regarding the entire candle, I think I just uploaded a day-old chart without the new candle.

I think we have all the ingredients here except for higher volume yesterday. no?

Mornin' ADZ and Poptop....Thanks for your contributions

ADZ, FNT, is a good example of a T.A.Z. set-up and today's action could provide the confirmation we need. All your points mentioned are correct as far as I can tell, even the Williams%R 14 day is in the right zone! So its on a watch for me also and all we need is price action higher than 17.5c today or Monday with a higher vol than yesterday's set-up/doji day. Apparently the some of the best moves come when the doji set-up candle is splitting the 30 day SMA as we have here with FNT. So we just watch and wait for our trigger and pray for more volume!

Poptop...AGX ...we have, so far today, a higher high BUT we need a big increase in volume to be comfortable. Maybe we could all buy up big!???? NOPE...let the rest of the market take part and we'll just show some patience

P.S. ADZ and Poptop....meant to add that SDL is giving us the potential price action in early trade today but we have a big volume hurdle to get over yet(29mil) and I'm not feeling too comfortable about the 30 day EMA rolling over and starting to turn down! ADZ, by the way, its ok for the 10day SMA to turn down ...you would expect this but when the 30 day EMA does then we have to show more caution.

Joshua's first-up pick(LNC) is now performing well. Particularly like the action today...gap-over resistance on high vol.

Congrats Joshua....now the pressures on to have back-up performances, ha! ha!

KAL...bugger, this one "slipped" under the radar!...and we had a couple of days to get in at good levels(8.7c-9.2c). Oh well, just a missed opportunity and I'm sure you'll agree there will be many more "looming" out there...but it still hurts a little!

HCY and CBH were two stocks that gave us near perfect "set-up days" on Friday and took off today. Check out the charts below and the "set-up" conditions that prevailed on Friday.

TNG, Poptop, seems to be panning out altho glad it moved above the 30day EMA today as I didn't like the fact that it had spent 3 days below it....BUT the volumes needs to increase very soon!

Not sure if this makes the cut for a standard taz set-up.

Set-up day yesterday followed by today's (being the 24th) very tight confirmation.

As always any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Joshua...TGS is not a bad example of a potential trade using the T.A.Z. set-up procedure. As you can see from the chart below it gave 3 previous set-ups in mid to late June before its from the 60c platform and now is giving one, as you have picked, at present levels. I have mentioned in one of entries in this thread B4 that i have noticed that when a stock "runs hard"(say more than 5 consecutive days up like TGS did between July 9th and July 16th) often the set-up trigger for the Williams%R 14 day period will come from a -50 area as TGS is hinting.

I'd be waiting for a trade above 78c to be comfortable with this set-up. Don't be surprised if we get another opportunity within a few days at maybe lower levels(or at least when the Williams%R 3 day rolls over again).

Good spotting and may it be 2 out 2 for you Joshua.

Hi Roach...yep OMH is a "goer" from a T.A.Z. point of view, has had these set-ups from its good structural/trend support area and has given confirmation this morning when it traded above 90c...BUT it is a thinly traded stock, which is fine when it is going your way but not so cool when you're trying to get out(just my warning/opinion).

Good spotting, Roach and good "luck" with it.

Hi Fellow T.A.S.'s....MRX is another one that has given confirmation(at 15c) this morning. Roach, its also another example of a stock that has run hard and the Williams%R 14 day finds support at -50. I almost always "marry" the two Williama%R at the set-ups for triggers!

Jumped on MRX this morning, albeit a bit late at 15.5c.

Watching OEX tomorrow for confirmation of a higher high and higher low, with volume.
