Can not find its own thread so here we go: EQN - EQUINOX MINERALS LIMITED Shares Issued 317,113,253 Market Capitalisation 336,140,048 www.eqr.com.au/ ~ into "Mineral exploration and production. " Ramp: The Company is focused on the development of its 100% owned Lumwana Project in Zambia. The Lumwana mine will produce an average of 169,000 tonnes per year of copper metal contained in concentrates for the first 6 years of its 37 year mine life. Construction is well underway and scheduled for commissioning in Q2-2008 (company director suggests that commissioning is currently going well), at which point Lumwana will be Africa's largest copper mine. Equinox Key Objectives * Commence copper production at Lumwana in the third quarter of 2008 following construction completion by the EPC contractors; * Complete the Lumwana Uranium Feasibility Study and progress development activities with a view to producing U3O8 in 2010; * Significantly expand exploration activities; * Evaluate and potentially implement opportunities at Lumwana to expand throughput, improve transport logistics and process concentrate on-site; * Actively monitor new project and corporate opportunities Daily chart: looks to be getting to the pointy end of the triangle about now
EDIT_1 bought in thismorning 2,500 shares @ $5.06 EDIT_2 MPS's barry dawes is predicting $6/lb copper this year - project is probably costed @$2.00 (guess) copper price: could well provide some upside there... (Message edited by tryhay on May 26, 2008) (Message edited by tryhay on May 26, 2008)
