Colin, I just want to be sure/understand what I am looking at with the Force Index.

From http://www.incrediblecharts.com/technical/force_index.htm
Force index = (Close [today] - Close [yesterday]) * Volume

How is a 13 day Force Index Calculated.

1. Close [today] - Close [yesterday]) * Volume on each day going back 13 days and then average.

or

2. FI= Close[Ma(13)] - Close[previous Ma(13)] * Volume Ma(13)
