hi how to find out how many buy and sell orders are currently pending on any choosen stock alonwith the volume. like you get open interest and volume for futures. thanks ajay

You look at the market depth in your trading platform. You don't have market depth? Get a better trading account

sorry perler59 what i meant to ask for is the "pending orders" and not the ones that have been processed. kind of leading indicator

Hi Greg. What do you mean by not processed? Do you mean that the orders are still in the hands of brokers and not yet entered into the SEATS computer? I wish I could see that too! If you mean that the buy and sell orders have not yet been matched because of differing prices or trading halt, then see my previous answer.

yeah, looks naive , isn't it? but the other day an analyst was saying like "i can see "n+200" buy orders Vs "n" sell orders right now. no wonder the price is bound to go up."
