Hi All
Does any forum member have any experience trading with histograms. I have attached a chart [hopefully] for BHP over a 7 month period and noted the buy and sell indicated by a change in direction of the indicator [i.e smaller bar]. While it is a bit rough it indicates a trading gain of around $20 a share over a difficult period. Thank you in advance for any replies as it seems a bit simplistic but does seem to have merit as it acts faster than the MACD

I have just been discussing this idea with a friend just recently, it seems to have a lot of merit......a lot of merit.
We are currently trying it in real time, which is the real test.

Hi Moldy
Had a look at lgl but it already is up to the zero line, seems to be starting to trade in a range and at the bottom of that range so could be worth a go now although this share will follow the price of gold very closely
