Hi,
Jim here. It's been so long I forgot my logon!. Oh well it's now williaj. Good to see a bit of interest in Newcastle. I've arranged for the Exchange Hotel, Beaumont Street, Hamilton, to accept us free of charge. Let's meet groundfloor, NE corner of hotel at 7pm, Tuesday 27th April 2004. Just ask the bar staff to point you in the direction of the Newcastle Traders. We'll be the successful, good looking people in the corner! Aim will be to meet & greet and talk about who's bringing the laptop, data projector, screen etc the following month for a meeting upstairs. Looking forward to meeting you all on the 27th April.

We kicked off our first meeting tonight at the Beaumont Exchange Hotel. 4 people showed up; Steve, Scott, Mark and me which was a good first start. We discussed general investing topics and what we hoped to get out of the monthly meetings. I'll host the next month's discussion with a talk on using covered call options as a form of increasing income generation from an existing share portfolio. See you upstairs at the Beaumont Exchange Hotel, 7pm on Tuesday 25th May (last Tuesday of the month). No laptops or projectors will be required. Cheers, see you then.

Another good meeting tonight. Scott, Gordon and Nav had plenty of interesting questions and input into tonight's feature discussion, writing covered call options to generate extra income from an existing share portfolio. We'll meet again next month at the same venue and time. Next months feature discussion will be on buying put options to hedge an existing share portfolio. See you on the last Tuesday of June (29/6/04), 7pm, Beaumont Exchange Hotel, Beaumont Street, Hamilton.
