good luck with ya cba jax looks like a good trade with ex div dated coming up. might fall away after ex div though. might be time then to swap over tp anz for the ramp up to the april div announcement.
i am sitting tight and bleeding a bit over anz and bhp.

It's the banking season over here soon as well Jax. A lot of hope that they'll have good results as well. It just seems relentless how there's a rise and then a drop. The UK market is absolutely ridiculous at the moment. I'm not short on it and keep going long on the indices for recoveries because I just can't believe how quickly it keeps dropping. I got away with it yesterday and made a decent profit at the end but it just needs a big and unexpected drop and a lot of people are going to be caught out. I thought this morning would be a big recovery day and took a little long @ 5749 but as soon as the US market even gets a hint of going down, we're down like a ton of bricks, so I'm showing a bit of a loss at the moment!! Some great prices out there with some shares but the panic going on is just putting me off buying shares at the moment. It needs some consistant news out of the US to turn this around for everyone. A few good reports saying the outlook is good as well and things will calm down and we can see a push up, hopefully.
Hope Risk is riding this out. It's getting tough for a lot of people now.

Moon, riding it out but gets a bit nerve wracking at times, a few bad days and i will be up the creek. Need a week of 20% gain to have a buffer, wishfull thinking.....today portfolio got back yesterdays losses. Am concerned about chris and eall. A lot have gone off yahoo and when I spoke to the bank a while back they were calling in margins and no leeway.

I think we might have a good start to the week next week Risk but it could possibly deteriorate from there. Hope I'm wrong for your sake. Looking at the technicals, it looks like it could be a tough spell coming up. We need some really good news out of the US to make a difference. Maybe more talk of rate cuts will turn it around.
