Chris, FDL have allocated some of the share offer to current holders. If the price is 10 cents it seems fairly attractive on current figures.

If you told me you bought at that price after August then I might, but I am guessing you bought them July or maybe August? Easier to look back and see what did happen than guess what was going to happen at the time.

Chris, logically I would not expect FDL to go below 10 cents again in a hurry. If they are offering $14M worth of shares at 10 cents then the market would reject the offer if people thought sub 10 prices could be achieved on the open market. There may be some dilution of the share price as a result of the issue, but there would be a lot of people with egg on their face if it went below 10 cents. Also, as we approach June I think the price will stay firmer around 15 cents. Updates of some sort should be on their way starting around April? with confirmation hopefully around September from memory.

Hey Jax, I had a look at our old friend out of curiousity. SBN (previously HGR) is now at 2 cents and just signed up a distribution deal in Virginia USA a couple weeks ago. sounds like a nice one to put a lazy grand or two on and forget about. If Virginia is used as a test case for other US states they could find themselves moving up big time.

Logically i agree with you about the sub 10c on fdl ecchi, but given what i believe is likely to occur in the market, anything is possible ZFX is trading below the current offer, i.e $3.87(OXR) x 3.1931 = $12.35 but currently at $12.15, i guess this is a sign of what the market is expecting OXR sp to do in the coming weeks/months. ANyone have a better reason why this would be? (Message edited by chingas on March 03, 2008)

True Chris, but if the market sees similar drops on FDL's future then I would expect that the offer goes unfilled.

Chris, with mergers the SP will usually be slightly lower than the deal warrants as people see no reason to buy at the deal price as they won't make a profit on the actual deal. This of course will differ when the market expects to see further negotiations.

fdl placement price was probably a tactical thing, i.e leaves options holders in the money (Message edited by chingas on March 03, 2008)

Iwill not be voting in favour of the merger as would be losing 25% on purchase price and zfx has the cash flow and the bank account of approx 1 billion left after allegiance buyout and paying divvy.

I don't like the offer risky and don't expect to be a zfx shareholder when voting happens. For me it means taking a significant loss but i guess it will reinforce a big lesson for me
