Gee it's quiet here this morning - did we all drink too much rum last night, or are we all just plain exhausted from holding on to the sails? Captain, SIE had a big day yesterday, is it worth hoisting?

Ahoy Able-Seaman Staboard Tack The Captain could not work out which sails to down so decided to do as our Mate Officer Spids does and sleep in Amazingly after a couple of hours at sea it all becomes all too clear and all too late what orders should have been called Looks like the Southerly Buster is catching up as we have given up yesterdays gains Don't you just hate it when they get the September 11 shakes Always preying for a good close at dusk Captain Chaza

Morning Captain, another late watch for first mate spids. Still be asleep too, if it had not been for the combined efforts of mrs spids, no2 son, and the garbage scows that ply these waters on a Wednesday morning. Still waiting to hear from our sister ship (ESTG). They had some 'brass' from WA on board last night, he brought important information from the front. Must have been a good night as no one on board is answering to my signal light. On another subject, what a great day it was yesterday. With only a small amount of sadness, one of spids sails split after a brilliant run (AGX). Always a pity to lose a position. But looking on the bright side SMY was showing some weakness so spids thought he might be in with a chance of grabbing her. No such luck, so far today, she saw me coming and covered up her weakness, and sped away. I love the show of strength, but I'm beginning to think that I am going to be chasing her for a while yet. It just goes to show you, if I had been able to sleep a little longer, I would have been spared all this 'noise' that you get at the beginning of the day. Usually, by the time I get to it, it is just numbers on a page , and I am spared the confusion. A couple of sails that are doing well on this rare down day.................................... It is only 1:00 as I write this , so a lot could change in 3 hours, but............ AYO; BBG; EMS; IMA; RAC; UEC; WTE. On another sad note, one of spids old favourites, SYM, looks like getting stopped out today, at a profit, but still sad to see a good chapter close. spider. .

just a few quick observations: haven't been following GEL, but following on from my last post, the trend still appears to be respecting channel support ...
GBG's advance has exceeded even my expectations, and triggered the first sell signal at 16.5 today, as it penetrated the upper channel boundary. Hope you've all made a nice profit from this advance.
and MWE is also running well, but nearing profit targets at channel upper boundary
cheers A.

Ahoy brave and loyal crew The Captain doesn't feel it's a good idea to be sailing around in these winds under a full spread of sail
It is difficult to remember Safety is paramount at sea to both crew and craft All hands on deck At dawn on the open LOWER the blue CLO LOWER the blue RBK LOWER the blue ENE LOWER the green LUM LOWER the green REA LOWER the green MRC LOWER the red IVK LOWER the red PWR LOWER the red ADN LOWER the red GBG Bon Voyage and God's speed Captain Chaza

Ahoy Captain/First Mate Spider Look like AGX will bounce back today. Notice the gap down yesterday and red spinnaker. This is a morning star and signal a reversal of trend - a very strong indication. I have problem in down loading the chart, perhaps someone will help me on this.I hope this one will help, on a day like this. Cheers Peterloh

Yo Spider Coming back to AGX , cannot held noticing the retracement to yesterday's price a Fibonacci retracement of 50% a support level in Elliot waves calculation? I am in AGX this morning having been a bystander watching it rise in the past few weeks. Cheers Peterloh

Peterloh, You have me intrigued. Louise Bedford shows a MORNING STAR as a 3 candlestick unit. I can tell you are very perceptive, but to anticipate the candle of the next day?? which you seem to have done correctly ??. Okay please tell me what I'm missing. Bill.

Bill You are correct. If you read a fair bit like me, to some it is a waste of time, I call it research and work. You will come across books written by experience traders, most will say that the best traders do not always wait for all the i's to be dotted or the t's to be crossed. By the time you have waited for all the ducks to be in placed you would have missed the trade. You told me you have read Louise Bedford's Book. Louise also mentioned this in her book Trading Secrets. When it rains, take out your umbrella, dont wait for it to pour.Look like you are one of those that will wait for todays end of day's trading before you would like to think about it. Well good luck. You will notice my call in several of my posts, you will decide whether I am just lucky or I have a system. Cheers Peterloh
