How long do you guys think these interest rate cuts will actually keep the market rising? Personally, i'd be surprised to see it last the week, especially as it was less than the 1% hoped for.

Jax, MQG to not go under $50 again is a big call, what makes you think that?

I agree Chris, Unless the economy shows some signs of strength I think the market will only have a short lived rally. I also think there will be further opportunities to get MQG around $45

I think if you look at the buyer depth and the small jump considering the overall asx, FDL looks nervous to me and set for another fall

The directors should be REALLY nervous. SPP offers close on Tuesday so if the price doesn't make it above they will surely fall WAY short of meeting their target in funds raised.

Haven't looked at the details of the cap raising but if people had already accepted pre the sp dropping below 10c that might lock them in(obviously you'd be mad to accept it when you can buy cheaper on the open market). Have you looked at the detail on this? There was only a small part of it open to the average punter too from memory, does that mean that the remainder have been snapped up by insto's?

the largest portion was made available to sophisticated investors, not sure when this part of the offer opened. But the letter I received as a current holder was issued after the price was already below 10cents. That was why I said all along that I thought the directors would need to work their butts off to ramp the price or else they would end up with egg on their face.

mqg ec over 50 now, its all a bonus from here dont ask for more then 50 just prey it stays over ,the rest of the invest banks report this week in the states hope for more good news and 60 looks a given i want out around 65 .depends how quick it gets there .

I bought SDL today on the back of a new substantial shareholder. 19.5c. Thats under the avg for the sub holder (23c). Just looking for a quick profit, hold couple days maybe.
