Australian investment bank Babcock & Brown said on Thursday it has received commitments from lenders to expand its corporate debt facility to $2.8 billion.

Babcock said it has also raised $220 million by selling new shares at fixed price of $13.65 per share, a 9% discount to its Wednesday close.

In early trading, Babcock shares slumped as much as 4%, or 60 cents, $14.40.

I am guessing there might be some pending. We haven't heard anything for a while and the SP jumps 10%? The next couple of days will tell.

Yeah, in that regard I am thinking CNP may become a bit of a favourite to me. Best part is they qualify for me to trade them using my T+3 terms. So with the $25K and their share price I only need to pick a relative low and the small gains quickly add up.
