Aussie - now and then I trade the Dax but haven't done so for a while. Tend the stick to the FTSE because I know it better and the Dow now and then. There's no way I'm touching the Hang Seng. lol

Stocky - how did the job interview go? When do you hear if you've got the job?

yeah i thought about the divi but if the dow has a bad night then 35c would be wiped out in a day and maybe more. I might buy back again. When's OXR's divi paid, that will be the day ZFX drops(ex-div drop). I'll go have a looksee

Looks like OXR ex-div 9th april(unless thats the date its actually paid but i doubt it), what date is ZFX ex-div, not listed on their website

What did you think of the DAX, Moon?

I have tried sim-trading on it and I think I was able to capture huge profit from it as the spikes up and down in a bar (even on one minute candle) are HUGE – just buy/sell the pop/retrace. But the draw down/stoploss would have to just be as large which made me lost my appetite (I like it nice and tight LOL, stoploss ofcourse. :-)

). That why I thought deep pocket like you might like it, LOL!!!

Yes Aussie, I've made quite a bit on the Dax before and it's a stronger market than the FTSE. I know a lot of people like to trade it over here because it's better technically to trade. I'm always nervous with big swings though on the bigger indices because I don't use stop losses. I can handle a FTSE loss of a couple of hundred points and just sit or average up or down to get it back but with the Dow and Dax, that's a bit more risky to do. They can move far too much and even though I have big pot with low leverage, it could go too far with a big, big prolonged drop and I happen to be long. lolol.

hey moon, interview went real well. i got a 2nd interview early next week so now enjoying my last few days of freedom. mind you its supposed to rain for the next few days.. bummer.. still waiting to hear back when my 2nd interview for the other role i went for too..

they sure know how to put you under the pump in interviews over here.. 2 interviews for a contract role is obscene..

was supposed to go watch the oxford v camberidge rowing races on the weekend.. hopefully they are still on.. mates said its a great day to get on the cans..

Glad to hear that Stocky. It's always good news if you get a 2nd interview. They're probably already putting things in motion for you to start.

I've never been to the boat race but it's a big thing over here. It's televised and there's a lot of money through betting on it. I'll be putting my £1 on, you can be sure of that. lolol. You'll have a great day out and will see how the toffs live. Go to the Derby in June as well...brilliant.

I'm going to join the army, Stocky. It's all kicked off in Basra. Got to do my bit to help. I know it's brave of me but I don't want any praise. I'll be serving those meals out to the lads like sh*t off a shovel. lololol
