I like the modern methods better, give up trying to get a target. Today, I operate under a totally different principle ie let my profit run until the trend changes.The bottom line after tax is more important to me then the number of trades.
Predicting short terms movements on patterns are more exciting. candlestick is good if you know how to use it correctly.
To me short term trade is for fun. My study is how many do I get wrong, not right. It is interesting as I dont trade on many of them.
Anyway 80% of them were brought up by forum members. So the credit goes to the guys that brought them up initially. I dont comment on most of them, but like some of them because they fit into the pattern well and I felt ready to go.
Also in my business, besides my clients I deal mainly with financial people never on trading.

Your chart patterns are smaller waves in a big wave, that was what I commented. The ABC points in your chart shows precisely that.
