Hi all, confirmed Ok for 7pm tomorrow at Brecknock. they dont have projector! but Ok to use our own?? and move pictures off wall etc.

I think the projector may be a problem. I have tried to source one but they are very expensive, even to hire. Any ideas?

I've managed to source a projector and screen. Will bring it along on Wednesday. I assume the laptop will have video out or vga out or some other suitable connection?

Brilliant Josh,

Just check we don't need any software/drivers to be loaded on the laptop for the projector - I am not up on projectors.

If we do then you will need to bring the CD's as well.

Otherwise the laptop will do the job.

Our 3rd meeting was held at the Brecknok and once again we had some new faces.

Josh was the superstar, providing the projector and once we got the PC to talk to it, we were away. Charts are much easier to see and discuss, when you do not have to gather round a PC screen.

It was also good to see people getting up and pointing out certain features on the charts as well as members willing to share their indicator settings and their trades, both winners and losers as well as trades that they were currently in.

Once again there was some discussion on general market conditions and the state of the All Ords.

One new member, Steve is doing the Temby course and gave the meeting his views on it thus far. We look forward to updates on this as he progresses.

MickV had some of his pet IC scans available and these were projected and discussed by members.

Once again CFD's also received some attention and there was much interest from people not currently using them.

Next meeting Wednesday 28 May 7pm

Don't forget to drop material to a floppy so that we can project it and discuss it.

Josh is not sure about the projector for next time, so if you can provide a backup, then this would be welcome.
