How tempting is BNB at $9.67, unbelieveable when you consider they were $30++ not that long ago and since that time they've increased their profit by 50% twice!!! But I won't be buying yet

just loaded up again on sdl, nice reversal pattern(imueo - thats in my uneducated opinion) and broken the little downtrend line, looks good for another crack at the 50c barrier

What the news re-BNB Jax, is it related to BNB power? As long as it doesn’t break below the issue price, support is still holding. Once buyer rocks back into action, a good buying opportunity there I reckon. I didn’t see much buying today at all that’s why my trigger is still intact LOL. Chris, I don’t think FMS is failing an up trend just yet. You need to understand that a stock that goes up need to take a rest. This is when you will see consolidation and retracement as traders starts taking profit or panic and gets out from buying the highs. You will know when a failure happens as it attempts to make new highs but fails to do so. This normally forms the H&S pattern. I think you should take partial profit Chris, and leave some for the home run hit. Money management is key, and I’m pretty suck at it so, might not be worth listing to me on this one.. LOL.

cool thanks aussie, i guess i'm just looking at a reasonably tight profit stop, but yeah you maybe right, partial profit take might be in order. Sold 11000 while i was away at the end of the day, would like to sell down a few more. I guess the other part playing on my mind is the drilling process only starts next week so a while before any news will hit the market. Its hard to watch so much profit going down the toilet, and i guess i was hoping for a retracement back to 18.5c or even 16c to get back in. MACD kissed for a downside momentum, and also failed support at 21 - 22c level(not sure whether this is really a support level but previous high). Shame to see SDL close at 43.5c, i was hoping for a close at or above 44c to clear that little downtrend line, otherwise all looks good BNB - let me know when you reckon the time to buy is aussie, i'm more than willing to follow your lead, jax's input is also more than welcome

Chingas and fellow Yahoo..ers. SDL and GBG, two of your "favoured" trading stocks, have today given confirmed T.A.Z. re-entries and look good for a profitable move over the coming week(s)....(see the T.A.Z. thread in the ASX short-term forum). Chingas, personally, I think today's close for SDL is ok but I don't want to see her back to 37.5c before taking out 47.5 in the coming days and would be comfortable holding for your "expected?" move to 50c+. Oh, by the way, thanks for the "plug" re:- T.A.Z. thread and comments...would be real glad to hear of others making money by using this method as well. Cheers Dolphin

I don’t think 21-22c was a support level, not enough significant price failure for it to count IMO. You may view it differently but I’ll say that’s just market noise. The only thing that worries me about SDL is the $0.50 level. A lot of rejection / resting off of this level! Looking at the Daily chart, your entry looks real good, but switch to the weekly, and the picture is not so rosy. - The long tail worries me. I’ll say two things most likely happen: * Price retreat back to ~30-35c before going forward. * Big push getting price above 50c level. Most likely, I guess the 1st scenario, but need to wait for this weekly bar to complete. The only thing you don't want to see is price going back under $0.30.

what was the exact Issue price for BNB back in 04? Anyone got data for it? Changes my view completely on BNB with this heavy selling under $10.

Years ago I bought CSL at $40 and watched it get to $13 and got scared and sold, them.......to watch them go over $100 a couple of years later.......and then do a share split last year....where was I, on the sideline, to scared to touch them again. Put a strategy together that will take the emotion out of it as much as possible, if BNB is a good company, and they are making money, buy it.....maybe in small parcels. You will cry in your soup when in 12 months time these stocks go through the roof, and your boat goes floating on by, as mine did with CSL. This is not a recomendation, do your own research....push your own buttons, but I reckon that now the wealth is being transfered from the people with small B%&*ls to the ones with smart ones. Moldy

I am just looking at the numbers on BNB. Current price = $8.00 NTA = $8.12 Div rate = .544 30th May they said they are on track for $950 mill profit. That is a 7% div.....ungeared. Sounds like a good story to me, now the timing is the trick. Moldy

June 12 (Bloomberg) -- Babcock & Brown Ltd., Australia's second-largest securities firm, dropped to the lowest in almost four years in Sydney trading as the company said it's being targeted by short sellers. Babcock tumbled 14 percent to A$8.15 as of 11:15 a.m., the lowest since November 2004. The stock has lost 27 percent of its value since June 8 in the steepest three-day slide since the shares started trading in June 2004. Sydney-based Babcock has been targeted by unidentified short sellers, spokeswoman Erica Borgelt said in an interview today. The company's bankers may review its ability to repay debt if its market value drops below A$2.5 billion ($2.37 billion) for longer than four months, she said. The company's market value stands at A$2.7 billion. Bnb is doin a ABC
