It is weather like this that makes even the most seasoned of Seafarers feel a little queazy Captain! One wonders if the coffee will hit the pit of the stomach. Rld got stuck in the squawl as did Red, Sri did what it was supposed to do, jumped a few white caps and Til well it's forgotten this is a race! Hoping for better weather on the morrow.. Julles

Captain Chaza the Great Ship 'Incredulous' Ahoy Captain Please permit to introduce myself. My name is double dutch, after being marooned on a wretched island of the west coast for a time longer than I care to remember( surviving mutiny and murder)I now find myself trying to eek out a living in this great south island. Fishing the pond for good stock is harder than it seems and I realise that greater nautical skills are needed. I have noticed your great ship manoeuvering offshore;raising and lowering assorted coloured sails of various size. The gracious moves of the Great Ship 'Incredulous'are a hard act to follow if one doesn't know the map used nor the course set. Captain I hope to sign on to a voyage on your great ship so may learn the lessons of the high sea to become one day an experienced salt as yourself. humbly your servant double dutch

Welcome aboard Seaman Double Dutch Thanks for the compliment but the Captain and his merry crew merely try to get a feel of things on the way on their long term sea voyage NE We don't have a map but we have heard the rumour of a round world If this is true one day we may find ourselves heading South I don't think this will be for a while yet But I would like the crew to be well trained, and drilled to act a lot more instinctively and without so much hesitation on the Southerly Tacks Sailing NE is a lot easier than SE but not easy if you know what I mean Was that Double Dutch? It can sometimes get very rough at sea but as you and I both know Life's very boring and a lot tougher on the land "Sometimes all you can do is watch the grass grow to get some excitement" says Officer Spids When he really gets bored he goes to places and watches paint dry? We are indeed very honoured to have Officer Spids as Captain's Mate and Ship's 1st Officer onboard this Great Ship: Legendary for his self control and his attention to detail in the fine art of Patience In another life I am sure he could have been a great fisherman Some call him a "Man of the World" On the Great ship "Incredulous" he is highly regarded as a "Man of the Sea" ( as is all the crew excluding a couple of sea-cadets) and I am sure he will love to show you all the ropes when he gets around to it one day

It is indeed an honour to sail on the mighty Incredulous and to be part of such a great crew. My rations don't allow me to indulge as I wish and i must pick and choose. I don't always choose well but i continue to enjoy the voyage and honing my nautical skills. Cheers Fox_terrier

Ahoy Captain, One of those spinnakers PSX which you selected in the past seemed to have caught the wind. Last week it was on the trend line and bouncing off it. The EMA has just crossed and RSI nad Twigg's Money flow is all pointing upwards. On the weekly chart EMA is still positive although the MACD has not turned positive but the direction seemed to be upwards bound. I think it is worth having a look at Captain. Peterloh

Ahoy Braveheart You are so lucky you were born a woman and can handle emotion For us men who fear emotion like the plague we must set in place rules to avoid such errors of judgement at all costs Fortunately??? I let the order stand It opened a little high but if we are lucky it won't matter in the long term Well Done Cadet Officer/ Ample Cook Julie I know you would have hoisted The SES She was the first sail we hoisted together with Officer Spids Remember? We had great fun It seems such a long time ago

Yes Captain, I do like the Ses. But I didn't remember it being one of the first we hoisted. Maybe women suffer from short term memory loss ???

Ahoy Officer St Peter Yes I agree Sometimes we must be patient or not rush in too early as the Captain did on this one At least we may get out of this one with a respectable loss I was thinking last week whether we sould hoist another PSX sail but Rules are Rules Maybe my rules need changing The Cafe will be ready soon and I am looking forward to having the crew over We can discuss your tactic of how you hoist #3 or more of the same without too much risk And many more interesting tactics I am sure we will all enjoy I feel #3 is emotional #2 may be the limit I would set at this early stage I have been thinking about it for a very long time
