Bugger, I meant NOW HELD IN HIGHER ESTEEM, and NOT NOT HELD..... Oh well it was probably meant to be, and more accurate. Cheers, Mosaic

Sorry, loved the tail, it reminded me of the time I was thrown overboard in the Gulf of Carpentaria, Groote Island Port. There had been in the past month 4 sightings of crocks and one woman taken by the said 'crock'. There's probably too much cooking sherry stored on board as per the cooks instructions. But I'll continue regardless.... The news was all over Groote, Woman 25 taken by crocodile and as you all will imagine I thought "there ain't no way I'm going in that water" Anywho, trying to cut a long story short... My then BF/Skipper decided to test the waters and chuck me straight in. I laughed at first, then when I realised he did this to make himself the lord of the manner and definitely in charge, my spirit just got stirred and when he refused to pull me out with the ropes, I was livid!! He Never explained his actions, He Never told you where we were going, He Never explained himself So what did I do well firstly I swore, then I threatened then I really meant it because I looked at him with contempt in my Soul. Does any of this mean anything? Probably not, but you may ask what happened in the end ...... Well I married him .... True story... by Julie Lamb Luv ya Julles

Ahoy Braveheart Yep! I think your're right Braveheart Only another woman would understand that stupid test of love AGREE?? "She was a better swimmer than moi and if I had my time again I should have reversed the question in those days of un-equal opportunity "Hindsight" is a wonderful thing in everything in life! "Attitude" is Everything! Anywhere!!" PS Sea-Cadet Officer Mossie You don't need to learn how to swim in deep-sea ocean sailing No-one can swim to land so far out of sight! All you can try do is get sea-smart as quick as you can #Study the latest ocean and weather charts #Throw overboard All the FA's #Design a nice comfortable rig to sail that suits your budget and life style OR Do the exact opposite Set sail any day of the week because It'll be al'right in the long term as your broker would never send you broke? Wake up one morning and find you are a self acclaimed genius at arithmetic (fundamentals) and a lot quicker and smarter than the Average And then Set Sail and Bon voyage We always try to beat the odds of survival if we can but we on the great Ship "Incredulous" know that size is not Everything Except in Houses Yachts Cars Bank accounts Diamonds and Sex

The Fremantle Doctor is also the joy of cricket followers and especially the bowlers; maybe the Cap'n has played another trump. Bill.
If you can dream-and not make dreams your master, If you can think-and not make thought your aim; If you can meet with Triumph and disaster And treat those two impostersjust the same; If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken twisted by knaves to trap fools, Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken and stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools: To be cont'd.

Subject: A tiny history lesson In the 16th and 17th centuries, everything had to be transported by ship and it was also before commercial fertilizer's invention, so large shipments of manure were common. It was shipped dry, because in dry form it weighed a lot less than when wet, but once water (at sea) hit it, it not only became heavier, but the process of fermentation began again, of which a by-product is methane gas. As the stuff was stored below decks in bundles you can see what could (and did) happen. Methane began to build up below decks and the first time someone came below at night with a lantern, BOOOOM! Several ships were destroyed in this manner before it was determined just what was happening. After that, the bundles of manure were always stamped with the term "Ship High In Transport" on them which meant for the sailors to stow it high enough off the lower decks so that any water that came into the hold would not touch this volatile cargo and start the production of methane. Thus evolved the term "S.H.I.T ", (Ship High In Transport) which has come down through the centuries and is in use to this very day. You probably did not know the true history of this word. Neither did I. I always thought it was a golf term!

Julles - where did you get that story! Elisabeth (who was once on a ship (not the Incredulous unfortunately, but a nice big ship all the same) that docked briefly at Fremantle - I can highly recommend the Fremantle pub! Well, as it was then.....too many years ago)

Ahoy brave and loyal crew I have updated the Logs as at Dusk Friday 14th November 2003 (0ur WEEK #27) on our Long Term sea voyage sailing NE "Safely" and as fast as we can What a Shit of a week ?? Everything we tried fizzled out like a spent rocket and in quick time Maybe the bears have got a point but this captain is stll under full spread of sail heading NE Sometimes you have to know what you are and where you come from? And quickly recognise your limitations!!! Well done great crew but we lost $8k this week and drifted somewhat South
\popattach\popattach The All ords also lost ground so some would say it was not as bad as it looks but we all on the decks of this Great ship "Incredulous " know we don't take retracement as some academemic word for losing money and love it? We are winners and retracement concepts is clearly not in our language but an excuse for hesitation and lost rewards When the going get's tough! The tough get going??? Paper money is as good as it gets! It's money! Paper losses are worse! It is highway robbery or Piracy at sea if a landlubber loses in this greatest of all sports It seems this greatest of all sportas owe him/her something??????! We all know the answer to that one!!!!! Losing $8088 in one week is a lesson to us all on the great ship "Incredulous" Paper money or not what it seems ? It is real money! It was lost !!!! Ouch! Ouch! Ouch! I promise you one thing my loyal crew Heads will roll over this! {167833,tropies14nov2003} {167835,logbook14nov2003} We did some great tacks but a ship of this size needs lots more to steady the ship from just treading water in these treacherous waters as is clearly seen if you survey the majority of those poorly equipted for safety and is never designed for speed in Large and clumsy heavyweights A good close (The Fremantle Doctor) at dusk can add $20k to our position as is the difference between 10c Buyer and 11c Seller Last Sale @ 10c or 11c is quite a lot of positioning and luck We experienced a good close mid voyage but I must say AGAIN! I haven't seen the Fremantle Doctor for many many weeks Bon Voyage and Salute my Great crew of the good ship "Incredulous" We will all know when we are sailing with angels That is when we get a "Good" close at dusk and the Fremantle Doctor comes in on time !

Ahoy brave and loyal crew Fear not great crew The Captain has given the ship a good look over and there is not anything really fundamentally wrong with the full spread It's just that no-one else has seen it just yet and we have had no bloody luck or wind I have taken the time to send a few abusive emails to the Emperor and warned him he would do well to pull his finger out and support the Big buck ($US) Otherwise his $Yen will rise together with the $AUS $Royal Canadian and the $Euro etc etc As the great Emperor of the Japanese Economic base I feel he will take notice and act within a day or 2 I also urged our beloved Emperor Claudius to meet with the Poms to also support our mutual allie and stop having so much FUN There was no point discussing anything with the Admiralty of the RB as they always do very little and leave it up to luck and smarter heads The last time they really acted was when they sold our Gold reserves @ $265? Sailor's shock does that to you, Sometimes! Any sailor worth his salt sold @ $416 Only the Yanks love a strong Dollar WHY? Ego and patriotism is everything to them, makes no sence but it is true There are a few sails I would like to hoist but what do you do when we have no more funds Some we already have on mast look good enough to raise another but then again that type of behaviour at sea can be risky It then gets down to betting on a yacht race in the short term AWE vs EGL YAM vs MAR BQT vs EQX PCG vs AGY Salute to those brave and Diligent crew onboard the great ship"Incredulous" I wonder what you would bet on at dawn if your life was on the line ??? PS I'll be watching Jay' Lo's (Jennifer Lopez) great bottom tonight (best bottom formation in the business) If I sleep in (Very Unlikely but there could always be a power surge)) Majority rules BUT Only If the 1st Officer Spids also sleeps in
