Please do not post under the main thread, it makes loading "Sailing the ASX" very slow, even with a broadband connection. Thanks Colin

Philo, I know it is some distance but it can be profitable besides we can have some lessons on charting and that is tax deductible, a conference and seminar for enhancing our knowledge on trading and investments. Last time I went we picked up KAZ from Uturn, I saw the chart and like the chart action. I traded all the way from 17c only exiting on 26c. I just got in again and the trip has more than paid for itself. I think of driving down and stay for a night or two. If anyone likes to join me they are well come. I hope that it does not fall on a date where I have my conference or that time where I have been booked to go overseas. The people south of the border are a great bunch. They are also culture conscious which I like. The last and not least I enjoy their company. The people are so unselfish. I am looking forward to it. Cheers Peterloh

Ahoy Captain, Captain Bollinger doesn't concern me. I am using him merely as a guard at the buoys where any wandering spinnakers sailed too close south to issue a warning. We have the little Japanese sailors navigating and they have done a damn good job navigating this storm so far even on rough weather. Captain Bollinger must have knocked these wandering spinnakers on their heads because they seemed to have headed off to the opposite direction that is NNE. The Japanese sailors have to change their positions when TIR was at .385,CLV .475 GLB .43 and they are now position at .43,.54 and .48 as I speak and seemed to have caught the right wind. Watching you sail captain has rekindled my desire for sailing the fast lane again. My big sails are also going in the right direction although the wind in the last 3 weeks have been blowing all over the place. Using modern equipments(computers) and keeping an eye on the ocean we are more steadfast nowadays. Words of wisdom from yourself, the emperor and 1st Mate spider has managed to calm the fear of our new cadets. Nothing is new, we have seen it all before except I admit we seemed to be able to handle things better nowadays with the equipments we have, techniques we used and not least the experience we gain and the expenses we paid for learning to sail. Captain, smooth sailing. Peterloh

Ahoy Captain, KAZ fits in with the techniques I am using. I do not know whether we are still hoisting it. Tuesday a doji and near to Captain Bollinger's buoy. It is moving again and appears to change direction from S to NNE. It is having lots of attention as shown in market dept and price action when it catches the wind it will sail fast. Cheers Peter

Captain, Because of my limited funds, my ship (I think boat is the more correct term!) can only hoist a subset of your sails. As usual, I chose one (INL) that didn't go up today - in hindsight GRN looks a much better bet. Oh well - thems the breaks! On a different note - you never know into what waters you will be sailing. Last night I had the offer to sail for a week in Vladivostok, Russia! That is very much a Northerly point - hope its a good omen for the ASX sailing! I guess that I am going to have to improve my trading so that I can afford the airfare. An opportunity like this doesn't come very often. Fair winds to all, Starb'd

Ahoy Captain, A draw does always look better than a loss. The fact is I have changed from a loss proposition to a profitable one although with low margins. Well said , Captain. Cheers Peterloh
