Hershy was truly honored when asked to sit at the Captain's Table on the first night of his cruise. Rosie was less than pleased. "What? As much money as this cruise is costing us and we have to eat dinner with the crew?" Seriously though, I am presently being held in the brig of the Good ship Matrimony and will be unable to attend. My apologies to the crew and passengers. Cheers, Hershy

Captain, thanks. I am humbled and my wife too is looking forward to meet you all. I did request to Susie (in my pm to her)to just give me till next week wednesday for final confirmation for reasons I have mentioned to her. I have also received a pm from a member regarding our meet and is a neighbor. It is late in the evening now and will talk to our member tomorrow and keep Susie informed. Being a man, I am used to eating whatever and anything that I find thrown in to my plate but my wife will be happy with some fresh greens, poultry or seafood OR anything except beef.Menu is not really a problem. Regards. (Message edited by shubh_labh on June 16, 2004)

Ahoy Sea-Cadet Officer SusieQ That's great news re Officer St Peter and his 1st mate flying in Looking forward to catching up with them and the rest of the crew VERY VERY MUCH! It might be such a great night we may even decide to carry on for breakfast and/or lunch over the week-end while Officer St Peter is in town Officer Laffee and his 1st mate have designed a magnificent banquet (4 Course) It will be very interesting to see if 1st Mate Officer Spids orders the Duck or the Rib -Eye Steak for his main??? There is not much more for you to do now except to confirm the numbers by dawn Tues The more the merrier is always the rule at sea Braveheart can always be squeezed in at the last minute even if she has to sit on the Captain's lap (Leave Nicola Spielberg to me!) If he does not attend he will have a permanent seat in the car park Regards Captain Chaza Looks like around ~16 to me so far She will certainly be a grand table I am praying the food will be as good as the crew sitting at the Captain's table What a Crew! "Perfection is sometimes attainable!?!?"
PS 1st mate Officer Spids Here's another Funnymental I have discovered! Landlubbers seem to spend more time deciding on what to eat for lunch than what share they should buy or hold today (Message edited by captain_chaza on June 27, 2004)

It looks like I can not make the trip Captain, not this time. We were hoping for a date to be set for my D's surgery yesterday, instead we are back home and have to wait to be contacted for the date which could be any time between today and the last week of July. Anyway not to worry there is always Christmas! I hope you all have a marvelous time. Julles

Hi Susieq, Hope you will recover from your flu by then. Laffe has very good taste and I am very comfortable with him organising the menu and the wine.If the past is any guidance I expect a first class menu. Just a minute detail for the Captain, my first mate prefers a vegetarian meal and I hope it is not too much trouble.I hope there is plenty of parking nearby as I have a hired car from Hertz.I wont be looking into any computer for the next few days.Looking forward to tomorrow night. Cheers Peterloh

Mr Peter, There is plenty of parking as the Riddell St Cafe is in a side street off Glenhuntly Road Elsternwick. Does vegetarian include seafood? Looking forward very much to swapping stories of selling too early. FEA did that to me today, after I sold yesterday. cheers SusieQ

Ahoy Suseiq, Sea food is out of the question. I hope it is not too much trouble.Appreciate your voluntary contribution and looking forward to see you on the night.Maybe I should not even be driving because I will probably be having a few with such fine company. I know what it is like to sell too early, after all the years I have been in the game. It comes with a fear , that is giving back the profit we made or fear of losing our capital.Sometimes we think we can sell at the top and buy back in time for a second bite of the cherry. We must approach it as a game that is playing with their chips that we can over come this fear and act cool.Never mind, move on to the next one, or next game. cheers Peter

Dear Cap and Incredulous Crew, Unfortunately something has come up and I will not be able to make it to the dinner/celebrations this evening. If you plan to meet saturday for lunch, post the location if you have time, and I will try and catch up. Cheers, Mosaic
