Ahoy Braveheart 'Twas I! At times I do check the depth sounders on occasions as am sure we all seasoned sailors do at the last minute (if we have the time) but I only login the open in the logbooks I have never found the depth sounders work all that well and have often thought of throwing them overboard It is like trying to judge the size of an ice-berg from the tip and in very close proximity When you sell at market ya gotta accept a few scraps at the end of the order The micro buy orders are just filling previous limit order scraps and effect no brokerage

Julles No sign of the Captain from my dinghy but I Reckon he may be up to something. Hope RKN was on your watch list for last week. Post due shortly. DEG is rallying again today, and AEI is pulling back nicely. regards Shawky

Hi all I thought I might have spotted him north of Darwin on my flight back from Bali. But it is a bit hard to be sure from 10,000 metres. However the rapidly moving colourful sails gave some indication. Best wishes for the crew at the get together. ATM updating the alarms on my watchlists could take some time. cheers $

Welcome home dollars, maybe someone should send out the life rafts in search of the Captain? I'm sure he'd love to see you at the Captains Table on the 19th! That's if we can find him

Capitanio, il Capitanio, where have you been? 24 hours is a long time on the bourse without you. If there was no post this morning I would have knocked on your door, fully expecting your cat to be singing a mournful tone. Never go missing like this again!

Yo captain, spider was very impressed with #2 son, obviously a very capable young man. The cafe looks magic at night. Excellent location. Your son was right, the Jag is 'sex on wheels'. The captain is entitled to sleep in whenever he wants to. spider's fridge died a couple of days ago. Mrs spider found a new one on the internet, ordered it Friday, it arrived today, they took away the old fridge and the box the new one came in. Now that's what I call service! Seventeen years worth of stuff had fallen down the back of that fridge, including a bottle of Ouzo! spider does not drink Ouzo, so I'm not sure where it came from. New fridge beeps if you leave the door open too long! Not sure I like that. spider likes to 'ponder' the contents of a fridge, particularly at 2 or 3 in the morning. Anyway, out with the old and in with the new. The fridge is dead, long live the fridge! spider. .
this is not spider's Jag but is close to what it looks like.

Ahoy brave and loyal crew The Captain has been working very hard to make sure everything will be perfect for our great night I thought it might be a good idea to open up for breakfast and lunch first and do a few ocean trials on the unsuspecting landlubbers So far so good We have found a really great and efficient waiter and a really cute waitress Which one do you think we need on Friday night? SussieQ Please help

Ahoy brave and loyal crew The captain has made a few bad tacking decisions this week as we probably all know It is difficult to remember "The wind calls the tune" Landlubbers often say they are long term sailors and not short term day trippers to give comfort to their crew The fact is that there are times when high speed sail shifting is the best tack and medium term tactics are in order What was it that 1st officer Spids once said? "Make hay while there is still wind?" Other times when there is little or no wind he suggested to "Watch the paint dry on a wood pile" and think medium term Sorry crew but the Captain forgot that one and we would have been a lot better off if we had just relaxed and done nothing The only excuse the Captain can offer is that we are so late on arrival there are no more golf balls left and watching paint grow is very boring to this Skipper Hold Course brave and loyal crew and try to catch a few movies We are under full spread of sail and find ourselves in between a rock a wood-pile and a hay stack but fortunately we are well drilled and sea-ready for a sea change and an upward correction Ahoy Sea-cadet Nicola Did you set your little favourite PRR sail again?
PS No time to post the logs today as I am a bit pissed off with a few officers

Hello Captain Have had a break from the dreaded computer, much to organise this time of the year. is Friday the first time the restaurant will be open? Then definitely a trial run of at least lunch first on the landlubbers prior to the big night. My vote is for the efficient and great waiter, cuteness wears off when the food delivery is botched.
