RAC This is one for those sailors that don't mind the slow coaches, the 'good ship' has traded it a few times, and it has been EXTREMELY good to spider, who still hold its. RAC closed at 42.5 tonight. 42 has been a resistence point since that huge jump a few months back, so closing above it is significant IMHO. WOW For all the ASX100 followers. Broke out last week, going along nicely this week. Traditionally you would expect a pull back to the MA. Sometimes this pull back does not occur, but if it does it would be a good place for a conservative entry. Sorry about the lack of charts to back up ideas, but my youngest is hogging the Mac. .

Hello Spider There's a little man inside my computer software ... He wears a little bowler hat and calls himself a MACD expert ... Trouble is the Treasury Team was out to lunch when he gave a WOW buy signal 4 weeks ago ... Now he is sitting in a corner crying because his beloved Emperor spoke sternly to him ... If the charts are telling me all I need to know I don't want to know about it 4 weeks later I told the little man in the bowler hat to get his act together and speak up more loudly next time ... Or his hat and its content might be fed to the lions ... Of course it may not be too late to enter WOW now ... but I am not in the habit of offering comfort to little men in bowler hats who talk too quietly Imperiously Yours Claudius =====================================================================

Spider, Claudius Hope this is not too off topic.. I thought Weinstein being your guide would hold you away from WOW or am I missing something? For a short term trade Nov 11/12 were signals for me (MACD, TMF and candles) but I wasn't watching it. Obviously my MACD is set somewhat different to yours Clausius. WOW has only just crossed above the 30 Weak MA, which is headed down by the way. I have WOW categorised as Stage 3 possible Stage 4 or Stage 2 re entry. Sounds like you two have it as pending Stage 2? I suppose as spider says, one would expect a pull back to the MA (assume 30 Weak), and an increase in volume would be helpful. Here's another chart of WOW to make this page look pretty for New Year.
Claudius, now you have increased the degree of difficulty for my Weinstein analysis of the ASX100. WOW was crossed off the list!! regards Shawky

First mate spids on deck. I tacked this to your cabin door captain, did not want to wake you after your extended shore leave. Good to have you back on board, the crew got a bit jumpy without you. The note reads " The captain may wish to keep an eye on two old favourites, RAC showed promise today, and NTC just feels likes it 'wants to' make a move, but the first mate is not sure when. Sleep well captain, spids will keep us safe during the small hours. .

Ahoy Captain, Hope you had a nice Christmas. My personal apologies for not being able to be at the Captain's table recently. I will made it up to you some time. I will come to one of the meetings in Melbourne and also to visit your gallery as part of my itienary ie if I am welcome. As you know on land we can't always have our ways, it is a matter of missing the dinner or sleeping on the streets. At least at sea we can sleep on the deck. The following months shall be very busy for me. I am off to Malaysia to spend some time with my dad who is in his early 90s. New crews in my office to be trained and several days in Noosa in March. Hope to visit Melbourne in April or May at least for several days. If any Welsh men wish to come along, they are welcome. Notice your request for a fast and short one. I do not know whether we have CCE, it may be worth a look at following yesterday's inverted hammer. Only for the brave, as there is a Chinese saying "if you need to carry an umbrella in the verandah and under the balcony , it is not for you as you are already in the shade. Warning 'not all "t"s have been crossed or all "i"s have been dotted'. As with SBP 8 to 10% each time, got off to board it today. Notice the same patterns of SBP repeating. Wishing the Captain, First Mate Spider, Mossie, Julles, Susieq, Elisabeth, Granny, all Officers and Crews and everyone a Prosperous and Happy New Year. Peterloh

BKA looks interesting. Crespigny is always someone to follow. At the moment, BKA has a bundle of buyers and very few sellers.

the farmer the lawyer and the duck A big city lawyer went duck hunting in South Louisiana. He shot and dropped a bird, but it fell into a farmer's field on the other side of a fence. As the lawyer climbed over the fence, an elderly farmer drove up on his tractor and asked him what he was doing. The litigator responded, "I shot a duck and it fell in this field, and now I'm going into retrieve it." The old farmer replied. "This is my property, and you are not coming over here." The indignant lawyer said, "I am one of the best trial attorneys in the U.S. and, if you don't let me get that duck, I'll sue you and take everything you own." The old farmer smiled and said, "Apparently, you don't know how we do things in Louisiana. We rule ourselves under the Napoleonic Code. We settle small disagreements like this with the Louisiana Three Kick Rule." The lawyer asked, "What is the Louisiana Three Kick Rule?" The Farmer replied. "Well, first I kick you three times and then you kick me three times, and so on, back and forth, until someone gives up." The attorney quickly thought about the proposed contest and decided that he could easily take the old codger. He agreed to abide by the local custom. The old farmer slowly climbed down from the tractor and walked up to the city feller. His first kick planted the toe of his heavy work boot into the lawyer's groin and dropped him to his knees where he immediately vomited. The geezer's second kick nearly ripped the man's nose off his face. The barrister was flat on his belly when the farmer's third kick to a kidney nearly caused him to give up. The lawyer summoned every bit of his dark heart, vengeful will and managed to get to his feet and said, "Okay, you old coot now it's my turn." The old farmer smiled and said, "Naw, I give up. You can have the duck." .

Ahoy brave and loyal crew All hands on deck At dawn on the open LOWER the green ATX HOIST the green PLA LOWER the green GDP HOIST the green OIL Bon voyage and God's speed Captain Chaza
Ahoy Braveheart Re BKS I thought it would come back and fill the gap Only when Sea-cadet Nicola noticed the wind strength building up in the morning did the Captain and many other skippers realize it was not going to happen and hence the panic buying as not many of us don't like to miss out on any of the fun Unfortunately this Captain likes to think first and then act instinctively without hesitation at dawn and prefers to leave the emotional intra-day tacking duels for others Things just moved too fast and YES a really great 1 day tack was missed OUCH! OUCH! OUCH! (Message edited by captain_chaza on January 02, 2004)
