susieq, You're the conference queen, stuff Fiji, why not entrepeneur an Aussie tour, Say, Gold coast and Adelaide, or maybe a little research would indicate what could be supported. (no offence Fiji, comment is meant economically. By the way, as you know I heard a radio interview wherein he took great pains to emphasise that he was tempted to leave FORCE index out of Trading for a Living, but conscience would not allow that. I recall being dragged to a Breakout promo night for live in crash course with Bedford and her mate whose name escapes me, (Chris TATE) I think that was around $2000. each and 2 or three days. Yesterday I attended a luncheon to hear Ruthven of IBIS speak about his view of our economy. I understand that the whole text can be downloaded from the web sie, which I think is ibisworld.com. In case anyone is interested. What I am trying to do is find an analogy, whch says we don't need both the hard copy and the oral, or do we?. Just some food for,I hope, thought. Peaceful and gainful studying folks. I cannot leave without mentioning that in the interview he spoke about the value of his accidental visit to AA and its impact upon him. They were talking about me, he said. I recall reading it in the book, but I greatly appreciated the reminder. Bill.

Nice thought there Bill. Would love to organise a great week here in Oz with Dr Elder, my mind is already turning over with the possibilities of what we could achieve. Including a fancy dress ball, with a nautical theme, naturally. But I don't have the time, what with working, end of day trading, family life etc and the way Peter Costello is talking I will be heading out the door to the office even when I am on my zimmerframe!! You make a good point in that there are any number of recorded tapes, printed books etc, that traders can access to gain an understanding of Elder's trading rules and insights, however the Fiji Conference is not only lectures/speeches/lessons from Elder but has built in time to speak one on one with him re your trading strategies etc and gain some personal face to face tuition. This is the true value. It doesn't sound all that expensive to me, given that you are on holiday and can probably claim it as a tax deduction as trading education. A group from the IC Forum would be fun as well. Any takers? cheers SusieQ
