Captain Chaza Thanks for the tip-off. It appears that the new server has been adjusted for the change to EDT. We will rectify this. Colin

Justice Thanks for the heads up on ASC, pity I had run out of strength to hoist any more sails. Nice gain so far, are you looking to hold or just in for a few thrilling days? I must admit I have an ethical thing about this stock, but then that is me being a bit contradictory with my ethical stance as trading has no redeeming social value at all either, so if I was true to my ethics I wouldn't trade at all. But it is too much fun, not to. good luck with it cheers SusieQ (Dazed and Confused)

Aloha SusieQ, I believe ASC has scope to consolidate and hold it's own at around 11.5 or above within a very short timeframe. I'm hanging out for this level as I'm playing solely with "their" money at this stage. However, the trading volume is still quite moderate and buying will need to accelerate somewhat before it again cracks the 10.5 or 11 overhead I would guess. I think it will pursue the push sooner rather than later and I'll consider my next move hopefully in that new light. I think there is a considerably greater up-side to this company's share price in the long term as it's revenues are set to increase before ever leveling. As a concession to my sanity, I've banished all debate concerning ethics from trading strategy as this serves only to distract me from the goal - to be right about the chart!! In hind sight, as it happens, ASC is one of the more shapely goblins on the ethical toll bridge - by my standards. I'm glad you're well. justIce

Ahoy brave and loyal crew In a calm one has the time to shuffle a few sails around to best suit the ship for when the wind does come Landlubbers are notorious for hoisting bargains so it may be best to continue our averaging down sailing campaign All hands on deck At dawn on the open LOWER the red CMX HOIST the red ETT #3 LOWER the red CTO HOIST the red AFT #2 Bon voyage and Gods speed Captain Chaza

Hi Cap, Just purchased VOYR today so I am talking my own book. Tomorrow is the last day of trading for the rights. Rights details are as follows: Cost to exercise the right $0.20 Can probably pickup the right for $0.03 or less giving a cost of VOY share of $0.23 or less. Need to pay the $0.20 by 16/4/2004 at the latest. Current bid/ask for VOY is $0.225/$0.23 Now here is the good aspect of the trade. There is 1 free attached option for each 2 new shares/rights. The option details are: Strike $0.25 Expiry sometime in early 2006 from memory. I estimate that the options should trade somewhere between $0.04 and $0.06 each. This would give a premium to the rights of $0.02 to $0.03, which is not reflected in the price of the right. They plan to drill a well offshore WA in June/July - could be earlier or later (JV includes ROC and Apache) as Apache tends to swap and change drilling schedules. I believe that they also have additional wells offshore WA later in the year. You are advise to check these details as I may have them wrong. T/A looks pretty ratty as a consequence of the rights issue. However the price has held up very well given the details of the rights issue (2:3 rights issue at $0.20 and 1:2 free option attached to rights) - I see this as very strong technically. One of the main dangers with this trade is that the new shares will not be issued until around 21/4/2004 which means that you do not have control of the shares/options if there is major turmoil in the market - you can't sell.
Cheers, Mosaic

BTA! All my indicators are sitting strong for a buy. The only issue is volume of trade. The slow stochastic has crossed over, but apart from volume not coming in I can't seem to understand why this stock is not gaining some momentum. Can anyone fill me on any info if they have any.

Ahoy Captain! How about the PCL? Robski I don't see Bta as a buy yet, however the Captain may disagree with me. Julles ... Off to Brisbane early in the morning so the galley will be in fend for yourselves mode. I expect to come home and find the Market as buoyant as ever and the galley spotless! Got that!!!

God am I having trouble today watching stock movement. I always use Sanford Dynamic data (as I can't get broadband) and apparently they moved office last weekend and it's mucked up their technical signals. So the Dynamic data is not working!!!! AHHH !!! I've had to resort to the old fashioned way of clicking the refresh button all of the time... Whooh is Moi'

Julles I will be keeping an eye on the galley for you whilst away, and the key to the chocolate biscuits and rum cupboard is safe with me. Tha market may be rising 10 to 15 points a day but not much on anything I am currently holding. Do our best to keep it going for you, good luck tomorrow
