Ahoy Officer Ice

That was a great call on the little red TAS yesterday
OUCH! OUCH! OUCH!
Captain Empty Head had his eye glass on it all day but there were very few sellers

Only 1.7 red spinnakers to share between the lot of us at the end of the day

Hope you got the one?
I wish we had have!

Her skipper and crew certainly kept the secret this time
Didn't even tell their wives I'd bet

Seems the cheats are at it again playing with the decimal point on the FLX/FLXDA
Phew ! At least we got out in time and avoided having the another deck pooped

Ahoy Capt,

Sometimes I'm so smart I make myself laugh.
Missed NXS , missed TAS. Don't ask.
INT is still available, and have hoisted earlier on.

Cap'n Sir,
Great call on MPO and NTG.
Might I enquire whence came signal for the Molopo surge ?

Be nice to your kids. One day they will choose your nursing home. And if you think the above is advice, you may not be able to afford one !!!

Hershy, Hershy!

You weren't able to attend the Captain's dinner but you expect him to whisper sweet nothings in your ear?

The answer to your question is what makes the Captain great. This is an area you should perhaps frequent a little more often as the active investor that you are. I would love to contribute to this section but any sort of turbulence tends to make me quite sea sick, so I just wave at you lot from the pier!

Greetings dear Capitan

Cheers
Ann

Ahoy Officer Hershel

The signal for the MPO actually came a day earlier on the RSI
As usual Captain Empty Head hesitated and we suffered some Capital punishment in the form of The Gap
OUCH!
She'll always punish you for not setting sail on the first sight of fair sea and wind conditions!

Often, life at sea on the ASX gets really difficult for us poor yachties who only have a few masts but 100's and 100's of sails down below ready to hoist

Lots of time is always lost figuring out the very complicated Lowering Tactics
Here, EGO is a dirty word !

I suppose we will all find this out one day ?
Whether it is best to ride the wave 'til it dies
Or
Let the wind's force and momentum call the tune

I tend toward the second if given enough time and mix it about when time doesn't allow

Brave Sea-Cadet Mosiac once asked me about my lowering and exit strategy?

I told him I had NONE!

"I just love to hoist better performing sails"

"Fortunately for this Captain there always seems to be better alternatives than what has already been previously hoisted"

Who said you can't change your mind at sea?
Some academic landlubbers set a plan into action as if the saas work with the steadiness of an esculator!

Once again Captain Empty Head has been much too patient with the energy of a tired old man hoping for the best
Sometimes you can just tweak the rig a little and get a couple more yards when you have time

There is no meaning prize nowadays for paying the least in brokerage

Maybe It's good seamanship to take a breather when the rest do?
Maybe it's a good idea to avoid the inevitable retracements when we can?
Maybe we should think in terms of the Short term in lieu of the longer time frame when we are at the helm

????
BUT really
Who has the time to sail the ASX the way it should be sailed?

I suppose all we we can expect nowadays is to try and win some meaning prize money and have lots of fun by Tacking, Lowering and Hoisting sail to keep our minds active

There's a bit of thought for food
Salute! My brave and loyal crew???
Captain Chaza
capn

Ahoy Loyal Sea-cadet Nicola
Your boyfriend Tony (Fremantle)) will be crossing the Nullabor in a few weeks to celebrate another year of living upon the sea on the ASX

I always doubted his courage!

I knew you would always make it!
I ALSO knew you could never cut your beloved MOS loose

PS Brave and Loyal crew
We just passed the NE 50% marker today but unfortunately the under-current dragged us back
Geez! I hate a bad close!
