Ohey good captain. Have donned the hard-hat and have just scrapped the barnacles from the bottom of my boat, and now am looking for a new adventure to put wind back into my sails. Saw the press gangs are out recruiting so I thought I’d better volunteer before they come across me in the Sailors Arms (quaint tavern it is at that). With your permission, I’d like to come aboard. I’m been a lone sailor from the land of the Queen (not the mother country) but once was a crewman on the good ship Mirabooka based out if Port Phillip Bay. I have a good appetite for good seafaring cuisine like grilled Options, shares ou la naturale and other fine fare.

Permission to come aboard Captain. Myklan here. Having survived another Taxing year (or has it nearly been two), have been on a spinach diet to build up the forearms to help with some ropes. Had to go to work in the mines for a while (not to be recommended to dark and depressing) but managed to tunnel out, found a row boat and going like the clappers to catch up. The smell of salt in the air, wind in my hair(?) - (well it rhymes sort of) is irresistable and the thought of another cruise was worth the tunneling. Would like to offer my services if only to swab the decks or do the dishes. Myklan -

Welcome aboard Micheal. There is always room for an experienced seaman. I'm glad that you found your way out of that mine, those dark places can really get to you, but I always knew that a seaman of your abilities would find us. I must say that I was resigned to a life on shore and then the captain decided to set sail once again, and the first mate dropped everything, packed a bag, and headed for the dock. Sitting here on deck, with no land in sight, and only the stars to guide us, I feel at home. The night watch is the best, only a few souls are still awake and the ship is quiet except for the sound of the waves and our faithful cook down below putting the galley to bed for the night. She brings me a hot cup on her way to her cabin, and if I smile nicely she puts a splash of something in it to help keep out the cold. Michael, I will tell the boys in the crowsnest to keep an eye out for you, and I will make sure that you are welcomed aboard when you arrive, but you will have to put your back into it as the good ship is making good time. first officer spids.

Ahoy 1st mate Spids I have a gut feeling about this Guy MyKlan ? I think He is a "Good Guy" I get the vibes He is a real Gentleman with a good sence of humour He is much too good for dishes! We have plenty onboard who make mistakes regularly we can turn onto the all important task of dishes My gut feeling is we should start him off as Seaman Myklan and then promote him to Able-Seaman as he earns his stripes and shows a bit of form? A very warm Welcome aboard and in the meantime Myklan!!! It might take a little time to work out your true Ranking you deserve so in the meantime with my limited search facilities you will be known onboard as The Gentleman & "Seaman" My Klansman Salute
