Ahoy Brave and loyal crew

The crews watchlists has become too large to manage
And what looked good one day does not always look good the next

WEEKLY PRACTICE DRILL

Let's say the Captain is losing patience with the
Blue GSA
Green BJT
Red STX
and may LOWER 2 Green sails during Week #2
Total cost $50k

PRACTICE DRILL #1

Design a NEW craft EACH week-end with a budget of $50k
Only Hoist and Lower sails using the Open and/or the Close when you wish and Sail on until you get tired

This is not a race as there is no finish line
Not all have to participate
Your normal duties onboard the HMAS INCREDULOUS always comes FIRST
Any other good ideas for future Practice drills are always welcome

Salute for now
capn

Ahoy Captain,

Some observations Officer Kenny has made lately when trading in mostly stocks outside the ASX100 -

1. Monday is usually up and Friday also - makes buying at the open on Friday a good idea and selling at the close on Monday also good, not necessarily the same stocks.

2. When the large sails (asx100) have a good day, the next day the smaller sails are stronger than the large sails.

3. Tuesday and Thursday are bad on average and Wednesday is mostly good.

Ahoy Officer Clever Kennie

I have no stats to prove whether you are right or wrong!
From Memory I think the '87 Crash was a Weds
Could be wrong?

I prefer the OPEN because of only ONE reason!

I have all night or better still the whole weekend to think and check out charts!

During the week I think you just go into managing/steering the ship mode from One week to the next

If you have a big week-end away from the charts then Plan a for the next week-end

You can't watch much when everything is moving during the day
You can't think quick enough during the day EITHER!

Last week-end I only had a chance to look at A-E on my watchlist
This week-end Maybe only A

If and when we ever get the Keel designed I may get thru
A_Z on a weekend and have a day off and A-K during the week with a little sleep in as well

In the meantime it seems to me with our clever crew that the Captain has been running on a 2% efficiency rate at best! For a very long time!

The trick is spending time on the charts when the ASX is perfectly still and not moving "but which ones?"

Salute for now
capn
PS
CRIKEY!
If I rate my self at 2% what are the landlubbers doing?
