Ahoy Captain, having donned the Wet weather gear and mind you taken a soaking that has chilled me to the bones, Exposing more than I could possibly imagine anyone wanting to see, least alone having too. I'm wondering of your thoughts re a bear trap rally?

Our market today was decisively indecisive. Plenty of punters both sides of the fence, no direction that I could tell they were and are simply waiting on how the Us will go.
I like to see what happens then make decisions, but If I was to stick my neck out my guess is the Us will recover ,,,, There are trades to be made short term and long. Enjoy your sleep.

I totally agree, the little northerly yesterday was more of a worry to me than another southerly would have been. If i were a gambling man i'd short the 200 today.
The little northerly could simply have been the shorters taking profits, or Landlubbers trying to buy cheep.
CHEEP IS NOT A BARGAIN !!!
Having said that, BLR, BTV and GGY all look like they're going to open UP today. BTV Finally might be making a run for it. It's going to open with about 1 mil shares traded, 1/2 of it's daily average turnover.

I'm still not too sure if we should be sailing around in these conditions under a full spread of sail presented to the wind but I feel we do have the right classes of sails up to catch the wind when she pounces?
In the meantime I guess we we drift a little more South each day

Not cheap as "they" would say and I'm waiting for it to break above yesterday high as the Jap's won't like it until then. However KIM is doing all the right things in a Bear Market. It is worthy of the Captains eye.
