Ahoy Crew /Landlubbers

The good/bad captain has stepped on a few toes lately and knows who?
I apologise once again to those I have offended

A crew is now being sought to challenge the high seas on the ASX

"Sailing the ASX" is the greatest challenge one can face on the planet earth

Your hindsight is not required
Your vision is!!!
It will be us against them

Landlubbers need not apply but you are very welcome to watch
"It is indeed the greatest spectator sport of all"

Those that suffer Seasickness need noy apply but you are very welcome to watch

Those that look at PE need not apply but are also very welcome to watch

Those that look at dividends need not apply but are also very welcome to watch

We will be sailing under the command of Captain Chaza of the high and low seas and I promise you it will be exciting
But be sure to bring your wet weather gear

We will experience the highs and the lows but I do promise you we will experience this great sport to the extreme

Those with their lives on the line should not come onboard
Those under the age of 18 cannot be allowed onboard
Those that still have two sides of the brain working should decide Fundamental vs Technical

Those that are still married should thank their lucky stars and get a job on land

Bon Voyage and god bless the ones with 1/2 a brain

Captain Chaza

Yo captain,
I'll sail aways with you.
But, as a condition of boarding (and because I have eight legs I can sometimes do the work of 4 crew members), I reserve the right to .............................

have my pick of the mermaids (don't tell Mrs spider I said that!).

jump overboard if I see fit............

to lock myself in my cabin for extended periods of time......

to ask for an interpreter to be brought on board so that I can figure out what the captain is on about......................

no pets allowed on board.....................................

you pay for storage of my car while we are away..............

that I don't have to pass a sanity test before boarding.......

I receive as much 'Chivas' as I can consume (without adversely affecting my performance as a crew member, of course).........................................................................

that we don't suffer fools gladly...................................

that we are do our best to help all the new seamen..........

that bad language is mandatory.......................................

that we work our butts off when it is time to work, and learn how to celebrate our victories........................

that we play as hard as we work......................................

that I don't have to wear a bloody suit.............................

there shall be no grass to mow........................................

all eight legged creatures on board shall be allowed to live out their life in peace....................................................

If any of these conditions are unacceptable, please speak with my agent, as I am sure we can work something out.

spider.

G'day C'ptn,

I've watched a lot of your postings from the dockside and kind of like your thought lines. Always ready to learn some new tricks, do you have any room aboard for a greenhorn? I've got my duffel bag ready and would like to try a voyage or two to see if we could work together OK.

I'm travelling pretty light in the knowledge department and even lighter in the pocket but I wouldn't want to carry too much baggage or the ship may sink.

An old sports fisherman from way back, have spent many hours trawling the deep waters for Marlin & Sailfish while sitting in the chair on the back deck, so feel quite comfortable even when the seas are a bit stormy.

Plenty of travelling out of sight of land with 360° horizon has never been a problem, the sun always rises to the east, now we've also got the satellites to guide us and make life easier.

I've even got a flash new passport with no stamps in it yet (it's my 5th one). I didn't realise that I has lost so much hair till I saw the photo. Wouldn't mind some assistance to hit the wide seas again and gain some more experience. What chance the opportunity?

Topnotch

Roger C'ptn,

If ya deck is big enough for a flyer to land on, I'm on board, tho' you were in my cargo hold for sometime there. I've got the aviation side of the house covered if ya need a weather watch put up or a bit of forward recon of the high seas.

I can also do CAP (combat air patrols) for ya against the bad dudes lurking out there as we venture into harm's way.

Dollar - got the two passports.

OK my conditions of service:

Rule No 1: No poofters (oops can I say that? 10 years ago I could)

Rule No 2: Refer to rule no 1

Rule No 3: Trim or fail

Rule No 4: Attitude - lookout - performance

Briefing: Kick the tyres, light the fires, first in the air leads, brief on guard...last one in the air's a hommo..woof!

Chocks away,

wadda

Ahoy there all
The interest in the position of 1st mate has been overwhelming (Both online and off line) and I thank you all for your interest

It has been a very difficult decision for the captain but after very much deliberating I have decided to go with Spider as 1st mate

Congratulations and Welcome aboard Spider as 1st mate

The photos of your greatest asset was very impressive
She is lovely

Your beautiful wife proved to me you are truly a man of distinction

To all the others that have applied please be patient

There are still many positions available on this incredible ship
(not to be confused with I-C or any of their trademarks)
We only sail for fun here

ahoy crew

The captain thinks he knows what is going on but has decided to let things pan out until 1/4 hour before the Monday open

Otherwise some great captains may corner him and call it their own

Those that wish for more time may try and get a letter from their personal doctor

It will not be considered on this ship

If you are sick you simply miss the boat

Such is life

The week-end is the time of champions and I for one will not help the weak

Captain Chaza

PS I must protect my ego against Captain Rene and Captain Huxley
A simple seamanship tip and obscured in this post is the NCM
It is being over run with Japs

Run for shelter or short

PS Japs = (candlesticks)

Ahoy good Captain

You must be thinking like me.

Last night in the Galley I was pondering a journey at sea and considered contacting you to see if you could tow my dinghy along throwing some scraps my way to keep me going.

Fast Ronny is gunshy having lost a treasure chest in '87 following the journeys of Captain Rene and Admiral Huntley (or was that REAR Admiral Huntley)and others even back then. Since then it has been feet on land except for the handfull of bottom drawer tickets such as we all know we should not have

I need a Captain who will lead me and share his bounty. If you plan to scuttle Captain Rene's fleet then let me on board.

Fast Ronny has a little stashed under his bunk and it's time to take the trip

Count me in. Lets hoist the Jolly Roger and sail
