Thanks Great Officer Davo I take your point that the Captain is not as Hi-Tech as he should be!!! Let's put our thinking caps on and design/build the best Navigator's Table /Wheel House we can
Maybe then Captain Empty-Head will make less mistakes and gain more ground on all his fierce competitors My gut feeling is that all Data needs to be Dynamic and displayed on largish monitors Landscape and Portrait for IC EG #1 screen could be dedicated to Intra day charts ASX and Nasdaq at night #2 screen could be dedicated to Watchlists #3 screen could be dedicated to Holds/Portfolio #4 screen could be dedicated to Early Warning International Charts Gold/Oil Nikkie Hang Seng and SFE for eg Has anybody got any good ideas Who do you think has the Best Dynamic Data I/we need? AEST and Yankie Time I prefer to sleep when the Poms are on Watch No offence intended to the LME Davo could please email me re The Cost estimates ASAP It seems I have lost your last estimate It is always best to do these sort of renovations when the market takes a breather and before the wind pounces again Salute and Gods' Speed

Ahoy Admiral Col'n / 1st mate Robin What is the largest/best Portrait Sized Screen to buy for your Incredible Charts IE: The more indicators I have on the One screen the more comfortable I feel Any news on the Vertical drawing tool so I can line up all my leading from lagging indicators? Safety at Sea is Paramount

Charles, I use a 19-inch ACER LCD screen and find this more than adequate. It all depends on how many indicators you want to display. A beta version of the new drawing tools will be released when I am through testing it. It shouldn't be too long now. Regards, Colin

Thanks Admiral Col'n Officer Davo says his 24" Screen works "Beautifully" with IC I think I'll go with that and another 2 x 19" Screens on each side for a starter At least I won't have to put any wheels on my chair to travel up and down the table to see the 4th screen As you are quite well aware Admiral ? Wheels on chairs could be quite hazardous in choppy seas! The chair could be heading in one direction and the indicators could all be at the other end of the Navigator's table! I do like the idea of strapping myself into a fixed chair for the duration of any sailing session Ahoy Great Officer Davo Could you please work on All the computer stuff ASAP Including #1 state of the art Keyboard and #1 Mouse "Leave the chair to me!" Salute and Gods' Speed
