Ahoy Snowbum A very warm welcome aboard and many thanks for your Excel doc I know we must be doing something right when a well seasoned seaman of your calibre hops on board to help a fellow sailor Excel is well above my head but I feel sure it is not above the head of our Bosun laffe, Bill and his 2 beautiful daughters I had no trouble opening your file so I guess the computer kid put in the right stuff I did not even have to do the "save as target" I hate scrolling across 2 pages and think 2 files is the way to go #1 Show the work in progress/exposure "The Logbook" #2 Show the completed trips "The Trophy cabinet" I also prefer to take the brokerages out on each tack /execution as we may be able to hoist another red spinnaker in my tight design budget The problem you and others may be able to help with is what happens now I do not want exceed the $250,000 budget within reason That is to say with not another sail With the costs fixed at $250,000 is the only way to compound our winnings in the trophy cabinet by designing financing and launching another ship Naturally these are early days but sometimes the sea is very friendly to brave sailors and one must always try and see over the horizon At first look I would say Lafee may need some help on the "Trophy cabinet" but then again maybe you have already given him that advise in the excel doc? Welcome again and I am thrilled to have you on board as I am sure we will all be the richer for it Captain Chaza

Ahoy Susieq Please send self addressed envelope with a stamp inside and I will tell you what I know on the back of it (a photo would also be nice) You evidently do not have the courage necessary at the moment to go to sea but I am all to pleased to know you are watching this great ship I think it will even make me try harder It is indeed "The Greatest Spectator Sport of All" Captain Chaza

AYO's drop today still leaves it well above our entry price. The low of the day at 87 sets a possible spot to move our stop loss up to, but we would normally do this after the share has continued its rise. I hope everyone has noticed our star performer SES. It had a very good day today. It only has to move a few more cents to double our money.

Ahoy 1st mate Spids Please Turn to the P$F SES Get your protractor & compass out Do you think 23c is a fair number or do you think we should go for 23.5c Captain Chaza
PS Whats the difference between a share that does not go up at all OR a share that goes up and comes straight back (AYO) Which won would you prefer? That is to say, The wet rag or the one with a violent rate of change? The Captain is angry with himself and is about to lose patience with a few sails Please make sure the crew is on deck at dawn

Also is it possible to plot the daily voyages of "The Incredulous" against our great rival "The All Ords"? Hi Captain & Crew, Yes. I can post the logbook/trophy each night. Still thinking about how to plot the ship against the All Ords. Does the crew have any suggestions on how this could be done? Regards LaFeeVerte.

Ahoy Officer lafee Great news You must be commended and hopefully rewarded with a fine meal of burger and chips The only thing I can think of to to start the race at 292.8 (All Ords) 250K (Incredulous)Starting date Monday the 12/ May /03 5 day week to say end of June 04 at the 0 point and have a LHS and RHS y scales I think the "Incredulous " scale RHS should rang between 200K in case we get hit by a few rouge waves to say 1000 K (400%) just in case we get lucky Well done Captain Chaza
PS These are only rough thoughts Maybe someone else can help

Hi Captain & Crew Here is the log as of todays close. Please note I have only updated the ship by mast and the trophy cabinet. Don't look at 'Oldest to newest' or 'Sails sorted by colour'. Regards LaFeeVerte
