If previous patterns play out again, the dollar will retreat and we could see gold move higher. Then again back when gold lost its appeal in the last bubble, the dollar took over as the darling of the market and spiked like a pommie pensioner looking at page three. Looking at gold on a monthly view is not a really good look...it appears to have broken below a long term support and the MACD tells a very mournful story. Thanks for your post it really brings things into a whole new perspective. I think I know where I would prefer to put my quids...but I have been known to be wrong!
