This morning I woke up the birds and set about to make few dollars
I only got time to set up 39 alerts/triggers and ran out of time at 10.05 AM OUCH!
Since the DOW did nothing overnight I made the decision "That It Will Be Enough"
The BUR rang the bell first @ 0.285 and I quickly hoisted 21052
The TNC followed and I hoisted 81081 @ 0.037
I then noticed that I had missed the AZS in my Alerts and she had "Gapped!"
I watched her closely for nearly an hour and then hoisted
35394 @ 0.17 when she looked like she was never coming back
I was shaking at the knees as I had dismissed her in my early daylight preparations
"I Just Hate Surprises!" Don't You?
Then the MCL and the EXR leisurely hit their alerts and I was given no Choice
"All my thinking had been done in the early hours of dawn and there is NO thinking after that!"
I then hoisted in tandem the EXR (21052 @ 0.28.5) and then the MCL (100,000 @ 0.03)
The GRL RIM RFE gave me a rest for a while as the wind weakened but after lunch the Alerts went berserk and I hoisted in order the
GRL (22641 @0.265)
RIM (61538 @ 0.065)
RFE (14545 @ 0.55)
You wouldn't beleive it?
When I thought the day was nearly over and I was due for a well earned rest the CME triggered a buy order and once again I had no choice
I hoisted the CME (45454 @ 0.088)
I was so exhausted by the end of this quiet day I had to "Pass" on the LYC which only triggered on the close
Sometimes there is always a Tomorrow!
Now this was all on a quiet day!
Salute and Gods' speed

A wise man once said to me ' by failing to prepare you are preparing to fail', I'm sure we have all heard that one before. For me the most significant part of your above post is the reference to having no choice but to buy. ie the prep was done and it was mechanical.
There are no 'secrets' here, but just good practice. I think there is something in that for all of us.
