Referring to 'The Patient Investor - Subscription for Australian growth cyclical and dividend stocks service AUD $495 p/a.
My question being; where do I find information about this service? How does one examine and compare the credentials of this service?
I like the idea of an assigned advisor. If I were to look at 'growth' investments, I would prefer an advisory service if it were to be frequent enough to justify cost expenses relative to profit margins.
"We charge annual fees of 0.77% for general investment advice delivered via
Model Portfolios on the Netwealth IDPS platform. Fees are calculated on the
market value of listed securities, managed investments, bonds and other fixedinterest
investments, and bank deposit products, net of any related borrowings,
and subject to a monthly minimum of $55*"
What is the Netwealth IDPS Platform and what are the likely fees for this external service?
Is the above inclusive or exclusive of the general advertised fee of $ 495 AUD?
Maybe an additional forum thread need be dedicated to the above, with information links re the advisory service.
Just another potato.

Thank you for the interest.
There are three levels of service:
- Personal advice - normally for high-net worth, sophisticated investors (minimum fee is $1100 p.m.). Run on the Netwealth platform and includes adaptation of portfolios to suit personal risk profile and may incorporate existing investments.
- General advice - Australian Growth or International Growth model portfolio run on the Netwealth platform. The advantage of this service over Subscriptions is timing of individual entries and exits.
- Subscription - The service provides details of the Australian Growth or International Growth model portfolio as well as research updates on individual stocks. This is general advice only and is not normally run on a platform, but through the subscriber's own stockbroker (e.g. Commsec). Guidance may be given as to timing of entries and exits on individual stocks but execution is at the Subscriber's discretion.
Netwealth provides two basic services on its platform: a Wealth Accelerator Plus service for investors (including self-managed super funds) and a Super Accelerator Plus service for clients who wish to avoid the cost and administrative burden of setting up their own SMSF. I have included links to the Product Disclosure forms for the two services which sets out fees and other costs (Page 26/27).
Track record for the model portfolios is limited as they were only started at the beginning of July 2018.
IDPS stands for investor-directed portfolio service.
Super Accelerator Plus is more restrictive as to what investments can be made, for example: not more than 10% in any one investment, not more than 50% International, and a shorter list of International Investment options (some Russell 1000 stocks are excluded where no research is available).
