Periods of Sharply Falling Debt   President
post-WW1 Harding/Coolidge
post-WW2 Truman/Eisenhower/Kennedy/Johnson/Nixon/Ford
late 1990s Clinton


The current level of close to 100% is only surpassed by WW2 (120%).
